Alen Žunić, Ph.D., M.Arch., MDesS, graduated from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture (2013., summa cum laude) and received his PostGraduate degree in the theory and philosophy of architecture from the GSD at Harvard University (2015.). He earned his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb (2016.) where he currently teaches as an Assistant Professor. He did his postdoctoral research at the ETH Zürich – Institut für Geschichte und Theorie der Architektur. He was an Associate Research Fellow at Columbia University – Italian Academy for Advanced Studies. He is a founder and principal architect at ALBATROSS – Architecture + Research Office. His research interests are focused on Croatian Modern and contemporary architecture. He has published 16 books (as the author or editor).
