Zagreb - City Dwelling and Residential Estates is a scientific monograph which deals with the issue of habitation from the standpoint of spatial demographics, sociology, contemporary history and urban planning theory. An interdisciplinary approach to the topic provides an objective insight into the conditions of residential estates planning and Zagreb housing projects. In the light of the ongoing economic crisis this analytically structured and graphically comprehensive treatment of the topic is of considerable use. Through tables, text and illustrations the publication gives a critical overview on the current situation serving thus as a basis for better planning of residential development in Zagreb. This study has been made at the request of the City Office for Strategic Planning and Development of the City headed by prof. Tihomir Jukić. This book forms part of the Zagreb trilogy which also includes recently published City Projects and still unpublished Spatial and Demographic Changes.
