Architect Bruno Milić

The publication is a companion catalog of an exhibition on the work of architect and urbanist Bruno Milić, whose career left a significant mark on the Croatian architectural scene in the second half of the 20th century. It is edited as a collected book with contributions from several authors, featuring texts: a biography focusing on his professorial role, a description of his impressive architectural and urbanistic opus, personal memories of Milić in various reflections, along with an interesting interview from ČIP (1997) and a brief exchange of letters with architect Ivan Čižmek. This second edition is expanded with a study by Dražen Arbutina (the exhibition's author) elaborating on lesser-known parts of Milić's work in Zadar and providing detailed information about his activities in that city. Ultimately, it includes an exceptionally useful catalog of selected projects by the architect, and at the end of the publication, there is a biographical summary of Milić's life and work. (A.Ž.)
