Castle Studies – Castles in Banovina at the end of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th century

The book combines decades of the author's research into a specific late medieval and early Renaissance typology of feudal fortification architecture - castles - created in the period from the Romanesque layer of the 13th century to the early Renaissance in the late 15th century. The focus of the author's interest is continental Croatia, mostly the areas of Banovina, Kordun, Pokuplje and Lika, and as many as 53 sites have been processed where the architectural or archaeological remains of the castle have been identified.
