The book entitled Rethinking Vitić is a synthesis of a workshop program of the same name held in the summer term of academic year 2014/15 at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and concurrently at
the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana. The concept of the book and its publication is the result of the joint effort of all students with the assistance of their supervisors and other experts involved in the workshop
program. Students’ works supplemented with additional texts offer insight into the issues of revitalization and renovation of modern structures as well as into new typologies of alternative housing. The book brings forward the experience of a training process which involves an active interdisciplinary dialogue in the face of challenging circumstances that architects have to confront today.
