Faculty of Architecture: Short Autobiography is the name of a jubilee exhibition that marked the centennial (1919-2019) of the architectural education in Zagreb and Croatia. The exhibition seeks to capture the
invisible and the intangible, that particular quality that is usually recognized as a typical architectural vocabulary or a school spirit that has continued to prosper despite all institutional reorganizations, changes
of its name and its teaching staff. The exhibition focused on a selection of works that embody the basic tenets of the school of architecture clearly outlined in a longstanding research project called Atlas of Architecture run by the Faculty of Architecture. The exhibition aims to present four integral entities in four different rooms spanning a period from the early 20th century to the early 21st century. The choice of the exhibition material does not focus on important figures in the history of the school. Instead, it aims to draw attention to the results that have been accomplished and the ways the teaching staff have managed to outline what is usually recognized as a typical architectural vocabulary of the Zagreb School.
