Boris Magaš – Reflections on Architecture

The book presents a selection of texts written by Boris Magaš and published in numerous journals, conference proceedings and books. The book chronologically covers 40 relevant texts written between 1962 and 2013. They amply illustrate a range of topics that Boris Magaš found particularly interesting throughout a period of 50 years.. A significant contribution to the book was made by the editor Alen Žunić who wrote its introduction entitled Theoretical, scientific and published works of the academician Boris Magaš. The content of this text was also presented at the scientific symposium dedicated to the architect Boris Magaš in Karlovac in October this year in the conference section ”Theory of architecture”. This book, published on the occasion of the first anniversary of Boris Magaš’s death, widens perspective on the complexity of the professional work of one of the most renowned Croatian architects.
