Marin Duić (Zagreb, 1995) completed his secondary education at V. Gymnasium focusing on mathematics before earning a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning in 2019 from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb. In 2022, he furthered his education with a degree in Art History, specializing in Conservation, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. He began his doctoral studies in Architecture and Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, in 2020.
During his studies, he contributed as a student teaching assistant in several courses. After graduation, he collaborated with the Institute for Built Heritage and Abstracto Studio. Since March 2021, he has been employed as an assistant at the Department of Urban Planning, Spatial Planning, and Landscape Architecture.
He has co-authored or contributed to urban and architectural competitions, winning three awards. His scholarly work includes two original research papers, multiple review articles, and conference presentations at international venues. He participated in international summer schools (Venice, Zadar, Brussels, Vienna) and workshops. Additionally, he co-hosts the podcast Prednji Plan, organized by the Zagreb Architects Association (DAZ).
