Asst.Prof. Ana Mrđa, Ph.D., MBA, Dipl.Eng.Arch. is a doctor of technical sciences in the field of architecture and urbanism. She is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb at the Department of Urban Planning, Physical Planning and Landscape Architecture, and at the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Zagreb at the Department of Landscape Architecture. She is involved in scientific research in spatial planning, urban planning, landscape architecture, tourism, and heritage protection. She is the author and co-author of plentiful scientific papers and book chapters and has lectured at numerous national and international scientific conferences. She actively participates in domestic and foreign scientific research projects and has participated in an academic exchange in Greece, Spain, Australia, and Austria. She collaborated with various architectural offices to contribute to numerous urban and architectural competitions (30 awarded), studies and plans, preliminary and final designs, and supervision of architectural realizations. She has exhibited her works at the Zagreb Architecture Salon and Croatian Architects' Association (CAA) Annual Exhibitions. As a Board member of the Society of Architects of Zagreb (SAZ), she organized the ARTUR project (Architecture and Tourism). She was an Acting President of the Croatian Architects' Association (CAA) in 2017 and Vice President since 2017, and then the head of the CAA Professional Advisory Board. She has also been appointed a member of the award committee for the annual award Vladimir Nazor for architecture (2017-2020) and a jury member at 21. Architecture Salon Novi Sad (2018).
